Meet the Team
Alexandra
Alexandra was born and raised in Toronto and has been living in York Region for over 15 years. Married, with two children who have had braces, she has extensive personal knowledge with orthodontics as a patient and mother. This experience gives her a unique perspective of the treatments available as well as the importance of an enjoyable orthodontic experience. Always ready with a smile and a positive word, Alexandra is one of our treatment coordinators. She is here to help you address any questions or concerns that you may have about starting treatment with us.
Traveling is a passion for her, with Maui being one of her favorite destinations. She enjoys staying active by working out and taking long walks with her husband and her dog Bandit. Alexandra looks forward to seeing you the next time you are in the office!
Anna
Anna was raised in the Markham area, having attended Brother Andre, and graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Biochemistry. She then went on to complete her dental hygiene diploma at George Brown College. She is extremely happy with her Invisalign treatment completed by Dr. Tam. In her leisure time, Anna enjoys watching football and hockey with her husband, and loves to curl up with a good book.
Aya
Aya has been a dental hygienist for over 10 years in the Greater Toronto Area. She received her dental education at George Brown College, where she later took part in the orthodontic study module for dental hygienists. She has completed the local anaesthesia course at the University of Alberta, but is happy that we don't need to give needles at MCO. Away from the office, she is busy furnishing her new home and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Married and living in York Region with her husband, Aya is extremely excited to help you discover the secret behind some of Markham's best smiles!
Isha
Isha was brought up in Toronto and moved to the Markham area at the age of 10. Having attended both elementary and secondary school here, she is happy to call Markham her hometown.
Outside of work, Isha takes pleasure in spending time with her family and friends, drawing, working out and travelling. She enjoys practicing as an orthodontic dental hygenist and looks forward to seeing your wonderful smiles here at MCO!
Jenny
Jenny first discovered MCO as she was referred to our office as a patient by her dentist. She joined our team mid-treatment is delighted with her treatment in which she four premolar teeth and 4 wisdom teeth were extracted for optimal facial aesthetics and profile. Jenny brings the experience of being a patient and can truly understand the MCO experience from the patient perspective. She is here to help you with payments, statements, and scheduling your appointments. Jenny attended Pierre Elliot Trudeau High School in Markham and studied at York University. Jenny is excited to meet you and provide excellent service to you as your smile transforms here at MCO!
Joanne
Joanne has been in the dental field for the past 13 years working with both general dentists and specialists. She is a registered dental hygienist, having completed her training at Trillium College. She is absolutely ecstatic to work in orthodontics and sports a beautiful MCO smile created by Dr. Tam. Joanne currently resides with her husband and two daughters and enjoys traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
Josie
Josie graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Life Sciences and completed her dental hygiene education at George Brown College. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, reading, and spending time with her friends. She loves working in the dental specialty of orthodontics and looks forward to seeing you at MCO!
Mandy
Mandy was born in Eastern Canada and has enjoyed her migration here to Ontario. She completed her dental training at Durham College and loves working in the specialty of orthodontics. Starting as a clinical team member, Mandy is now the treatment coordinator in our Stouffville office. With experience in the clinic as well as having worn Invisalign at MCO, Mandy really understands what our patients need to enjoy their visits. Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, outdoor sports, and shopping. She looks forward to meeting you and seeing your beautiful smiles for the future at MCO!
Maria
Maria was born in Toronto and moved to Markham over 15 years ago. She attended George Brown College and graduated from the Dental Assisting program in 2010. Maria has had her own experience with braces, and knows how exciting it is to see your final smile. Currently, she is delighted to be at the front desk in Markham to schedule appointments, greet our patients, and answer any questions you may have. In her spare time she loves the outdoors, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
Megan
Megan graduated from the dental assisting program at Durham College in 1985 and has been involved in dentistry for over 25 years. She has been scheduling your appointments and financial information since our office first opened in March of 2006 worked as our treatment coordinator until April 2011. Megan now joins us on Saturdays to help you book your visits with us. She keeps busy with her four sons and enjoys spending time with her family at her cottage. She is an avid ball player and you can find her at the diamond most evenings, both playing and cheering her boys on.
Sabrina
Sabrina was born and raised in Uxbridge and currently lives on Lake Simcoe. She graduated from the Medical Office Administrator program from Everest College in 2008 and is here to help you with your appointment and financial forms at MCO Stouffville. She is currently undergoing her braces treatment at MCO and is amazed at the changes she sees everyday.
In her spare time Sabrina enjoy's spending time out on the lake, visiting friends and family, shopping and snowmobiling in the winter months.Sabrina looks forward to welcoming you at the office and helping you with your own beautiful MCO smile!
Wanda
Wanda received her dental education at Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology in London and at George Brown College in Toronto. She has dedicated nearly 20 years of her dental career to orthodontics and finds it extremely rewarding and gratifying. Wanda is happily married with two children and a longtime resident of Markham. In her free time, she enjoys wood working, tole painting, wood burning, and many seasonal outdoor sports.
